Extra 15 hours funded for working parents (max 30 hours)

Includes 2 year olds from April 2024

You, and any partner, must each expect to earn (on average) at least £120 a week (equal to 16 hours at the National Minimum or Living Wage). Single parents can apply too.
If you, or your partner, are on maternity, paternity or adoption leave, or you're unable to work because you are disabled or have caring responsibilities, you could still be eligible and you get Incapacity Benefit, Severe Disablement Allowance, Carer’s Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance.
You can't have extra 15 hours free childcare if you, or your partner, expect to earn £100,000 or more each.
This earnings limit doesn’t apply if you’re self-employed and started your business less than 12 months ago.
Applications must be made on line via Childcare Choices / Government websites.
You will then be given a CODE to pass to Little Saplings this has to renewed each school term.

Other Conditions Apply:
The child must be 3 years old before the start of the term it starts.
Applications must be made before the last day of the previous term.
Otherwise you have to wait till the next term to start.
If the child is 3 years old after the start of term the entitlement starts next term.
Funded hours only apply during school term time (max 38 weeks) and excluded school holidays.
Unless stretched system is used.
